The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
